Our Journey
Since our beginning as one of the first online diamond jewelers, ethics and integrity have played a key role in our journey. In 2021, as a founder I modeled the business based on one principle: respect. Not only for customers, who deserve the best quality, but also for our employees, suppliers and the communities from which we source. We are aware of the historic challenges in the global supply chains for diamonds, gemstones and .. precious metals. But we know that the jewelry industry can benefit society when businesses are run responsibly. This leads to more job security, economic opportunity and improved protection of human rights .How do we ensure this? Following international standards that demonstrate responsible business practices. These standards respect human rights, environmental and labor laws, as well as laws that hold us financially accountable. By taking a collaborative approach to improvement, we can drive change and improve standards.

Responsible sourcing in a word is care. In the modern business world, responsible sourcing has become a central pillar of corporate sustainability. This does not only refer to the acquisition of materials and products at competitive prices, but involves a deep analysis of the supply chain to ensure that all its elements comply with ethical and environmental standards.
Our commitment
To further our commitment and build on our responsible business practices, we established in 2021 a Responsible Sourcing Team at LV’57 Diamonds, overseen by Nicolae and Maria personally.
Through our work, we ensure that:
– All our jewelry meets international standards for responsible sourcing.
– All people involved in the delivery of our products are protected and valued.
– We take initiatives to promote greater environmental responsibility.
– By following these principles, we implement a sustainable approach to our business model for years to come.

We will update our Responsible Sourcing Policy whenever necessary and will report on our progress.
In our desire to have our sustainability work independently audited, we are also working towards being a certified member of the Responsible Jewellery Council.
