About Your Diamond

Diamond Size: 0.19

Diamond Size: 0.19ct A carat is the international unit used to measure the weight of a diamond or gemstone. One carat is equal to 200 milligrams, or 0.2 grams. This means a 5ct diamond will weigh 1 gram. The diamond you have chosen weighs 0.19 carats and measures around 4.69×3.15×1.96mm. Remember, these measurements are only an estimation, as every diamond has unique attributes.

Colour: J

Colour: J J coloured diamonds certificated by IGI are very slightly tinted diamonds, however, once set in jewellery, especially yellow gold jewellery, it is harder to see the slight yellow tint which the J grade produces. If you are looking to maximize your budget or if you have a preference for slightly yellow tinted diamonds, then the J grade is a great option and offers fantastic value for money. Please note that in some cases, an IGI J colour might be comparable to a GIA K colour.

Clarity: SI1

Clarity: SI1 SI1 graded diamonds certificated by IGI will generally have one medium or a few smaller inclusions. The inclusion(s) will often be very hard to spot but may be visible to the unaided eye and tend to be easily located using a 10x magnification loupe. SI1 clarity diamonds are a very popular choice as they offer a substantial discount in price in comparison to VS2 clarity and in many cases offering an eye clean diamond.

Cut: Excellent

Cut: Very Good Very Good cut diamonds are cut to reflect nearly all the brightness, fire and scintillation that a diamond can offer. The difference to the unaided eye between an Excellent cut and a Very Good cut is so slight that they are almost indistinguishable. Very Good cuts are an excellent choice and offer better value for money than Excellent cut diamonds. Please note that there is no industry standard for grading cuts that aren’t round. To help select the ideal diamond, our experts have provided the following cut assessment based on our own strict criteria.
